Cross-cultural design approach (CCDA): a tool for young designers to transmit cultural-sensibility in contemporary era
Nowadays the forces of globalization are the motivation behind the increasing number of cross-cultural exchanges that are taking place in design applications. Different cultures are being forced to interact each other’s due the fast-worldwide development, and young designers who are the generation of adaptability, creativity (Grefé, AIGA, 2013) have the challenge today to transmit a cultural-sensibility in contemporary era. In consequence, cross-cultural design approach will be the key to engages young designers to understand, develop and introduce cultural knowledge to create more meaningful design outcomes. Under this introduction, the paper gives a reflection for young designers inquiring how cross-cultural design approach can transmit a cultural-sensibility in contemporary era.
