The project pays tribute to glass-blowing, which being a fascinating craft of more than two thousands years old is still at the cutting edge of modern design. Glass-blowing has been chosen as a core element to study, as this technique is present in two main sectors of Zafferano production – tableware and light. The main objective of the project is to represent the value of Zafferano company and the ability to combine innovations with traditions.
The interior of the show room comes from the idea of the liquidity of glass, which is often present in Zafferano production. Three different spaces are defined by three different behaviours: the commercial space, the exhibition, and the experience ones. The exhibition space tends to create a story of Zafferano brand representing the products as real museum pieces.
