Introspective paradigm, Designing human behaviors
Throughout history there has been two parallel phenomena in which “the interior” becomes more and more fundamental. On the one hand, from the perspective of the human body and the evolution towards the understanding of its physiological reactions and on the other hand, from a social perspective, in which the human activities are suffering an encapsulating effect. Under these conditions, architectural design is facing a social and scientific revolution in which the current way that spaces are designed is being questioned, and therefore the experiences and behaviours of those inhabiting them are also questioned. Could we reach a point in which the role of architects can include the design of human behaviors?
