This project sets up a new Wayfinding System based on spatial relationships with different users. The space of Autodromo di Monza, very large and with wide natural areas, today doesn’t have a functional orientation system. The first part of the project was a deep analysis of the space and the concept of orientation, to proceed with a project strategy.
Considering the large wooded areas, I worked on the concept of biodiversity, looking for a relationship between natural elements, shapes, and patterns to be applied in the system. Space was then divided into four areas and organized according to four New Cardinal Points, each one with its own chromatic and aesthetic identity. The project continues with the tracking of nodes and routes to obtain a spatial hierarchy and distribute the elements.
