CremonaFiere’s Living Lab
Ludmila Passini Secchin
The strongest motivations behind this project are the negative social and environmental consequences of the current livestock pro- duction chain on the globe. It’s well known that agriculture is responsi- ble for multiple environmental issues, and the changes in the landscape are visual proof of it. Besides, the current supply chain is vulnerable as a large part of the world’s population still suffers from food insecurity. Thus, we can say that problems connected with starvation and environ- mental issues, such as the landscape and biodiversity losses, were the very first motivations of this project design. How can CREMONA FIERE support the transition from industrial agriculture towards agroecology?
