Livestock and food sector strongly relies on natural resources, constituting a fruitful but vulnerable relationship with the environment. As a result, the agri-food sector is one of the most complex and it intertwines innumerable determinants for environmental sustainability, but the thread that involves them all is Soil. This element contains all the primary features to sustain life on Earth and needs to be preserved. The project Soilscapes, as result of the detailed analysis of the morphology of the soils of Cremona, finds expression in using the soil as a design element that reconnects people to the natural world. Guided towards the discovery of the 10 types of soils present in the province of Cremona, visitors will be able to learn about the secrets of this element.
